Acupuncture

Rex Hall. Japanese acupuncture. Great results. That's all you need to know! But if you need to know more... Rex is a veritable master of his profession. Training, experience, dedication and great technique!

We have had many acupuncturists in our practice over the past 30 years and without any hestitaion we can atest that Rex as one of the "all-time" greats. And rightly you ask "Why?"...The short answer is that it is all to do with philosophy. The simple act of inserting a needle into an acupuncture point is far removed from the ancient art of acupuncture. The use of an index of acupuncture points to determine which acupuncture points to use...also, not acupuncture. One must study the entire philosophy of acupuncture, the meridians and the flow of energy, qi. (pron. chi). Once the basics have been mastered, the interaction of points and the effects of treatment on certain "types"...and it goes on and on and on...Takes about 10 years!

The western medical short course version of acupuncture has a list of points for certain conditions. Medical doctors can do such a course in a few afternoons. Imagine..."my doctor does acupuncture". Seriously, how could you trust somebody with a few weeks training when the "Masters" of acupuncture admit to taking years to achieve their skills.

If you have tried "medical acupuncture" with poor results, please consider trying "Traditional acupuncture".

Rex practices the more gentle "Japanese Style" of acupuncture which is based on the same principles as Traditional Chinese Acupuncture but is less aggressive. Not that any good acupuncturist would cause you any discomfort, the needles are super fine and the insertion techniques are incredible, usually. If you have have a bad experience with acupuncture, please give us a call, we can totally guarantee that Rex will not hurt you. Neither will his fee, most health funds will cover most of it.

Hormonal problems, chronic pain, sporting injuries and stress/tension are just a few of the conditions that can be treated with acupuncture.
